Enrichment
In teaching to the whole child, in addition to robust academics, we carefully select enrichment classes to further foster creativity and critical thinking. All of our enrichment classes are taught by experienced and passionate subject-matter experts and specialists.
Latin
Beginning in 4th grade and continuing through middle school, students study Latin as a foreign language to supplement their core classes. They start with basic grammar and vocabulary study, and learn about the connections between the English and Latin languages. In middle school, they progress to reading and discussing authentic texts from ancient Roman authors such as Julius Caesar and Ovid. Along with language study, students also explore the history, culture, and archaeology of the Roman world through projects, field trips, and hands-on activities.
Service Learning
Revo Academy places a heavy emphasis on service learning throughout our curriculum and with specialized classes. Students explore need-areas in our community and abroad, and identify ways they can make a positive impact. These student-driven volunteer projects provide meaningful growth in areas of leadership, social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship.
Chess
Students learn chess through the use of fun workbooks and engaging interactive lectures with a large demo board. In addition, they are closely supervised during over the board live play. This program develops critical thinking, problem solving and mental discipline. Our classes are held every Friday from 3:15- 4:30. We offer open enrollment, please contact us for rates.
